A Dual Airflow system effectively manages the airflow in open and glass-door-equipped commercial refrigeration equipment and plays a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant shopping environment for the customers. With its primary function of preventing cold air from escaping the product display area, it effectively manages the airflow in open and glass-door-equipped commercial refrigeration equipment, ensuring the same temperature in refrigerated supermarket sections as the rest of the store. It also protects against warm ambient airflow inside refrigeration equipment, keeping the temperature differences to a minimum. This ensures a comfortable shopping environment and significantly lowers energy consumption and operating costs, making it an environmentally responsible choice.
Our Dual Airflow system utilizes an airflow that is generated through a passageway of the refrigerated cabinet, cooled by evaporators, and discharged from an air outlet in the canopy of the merchandiser. This airflow is divided into two distinct air curtains:
Inner Air Curtain:
The inner cooling air curtain is directed towards the product display area, ensuring optimal temperature maintenance inside the equipment. The chilled airflow moves down along the open front of the cabinet and is recirculated back into the loop, maintaining a consistent and efficient cooling process.
Outer Air Curtain:
The outer air curtain acts as a protective buffer between the inner curtain and the surrounding ambient air. It is slightly warmer, minimizes heat exchange, and protects the inner air curtain from external temperature impacts. Additionally, it enhances customer comfort by preventing them from feeling the cold while selecting their goods.
