NDL JUPITER multideck cabinets are often described as one of the most universal and versatile refrigeration solutions. Implemented across the REMA 1000 supermarket, they showcase a range of fresh products and provide clear evidence of their versatility.

The NDL JUPITER product family is based on a unified design language that ensures visual consistency across all models, while allowing each unit to serve a different retail function and support specific operational and merchandising requirements. All NDL JUPITER product family models can be joined together, enabling retailers to create tailored layouts that best suit their retail space and merchandising strategy.

ROLL-IN Application: Ergonomic Product Display Within the Same Design

The NDL JUPITER ROLL-IN configuration extends the same design language into a solution focused on efficient and ergonomic beverage presentation.

While maintaining full visual consistency with the rest of the product family, ROLL-IN is optimized for fast replenishment and reduced disruption during store operation. The liftable front panel of the open multideck version used in the REMA 1000 supermarket allows quick and easy loading of large beverage volumes using rolling containers, making it a highly efficient solution for high-turnover goods.

F&V Application: Eye-catching Fresh Produce Presentation Within the Same Design

Fresh fruit and vegetables require a distinct merchandising approach focused on visibility, freshness, and high turnover. For this reason, the REMA 1000 supermarket was equipped with the NDL JUPITER F&V multideck modification.

This application uses the same NDL JUPITER design, creating a dedicated presentation zone for fruit and vegetables while maintaining full visual integration with the rest of the store.

The NDL JUPITER F&V modification features a tilted shelf design for displaying produce in boxes. The boxes allow fruits and vegetables to be presented in a more accessible and customer-friendly way, while also improving product visibility from a distance.

REMA 1000 Project Implementation

The REMA 1000 supermarket, implemented by FREOR together with its partner in Norway, NordDisk, demonstrates how the NDL JUPITER multideck family functions in a real retail environment.

Instead of combining separate refrigeration solutions with different design directions in each fresh food area, the store is built around a single product family used across multiple applications.

This approach creates a consistent visual identity throughout the store while maintaining full flexibility across different retail functions.

All implemented refrigeration equipment, including NDL LEDA RV horizontal freezers for frozen product display, was connected to the Hydroloop Glycol cooling system.
